Frog Shaped Fruit Fly Trap (for Mason Jar)
Description
This is a fruit fly trap shaped like a frog and made in a Voronoi mesh form. It is sized to fit a standard 2.5" mouth mason jar (not included). Place the trap on top of the jar and secure it with a normal mason jar lid ring. Just add a small amount of old wine, fruit juice, or other bait in the bottom, and the flies will go right in. The funnel will trap them inside. Update: Based on the feedback from the first print, the mesh size on the upper geometry appears to be too small for the fruit flies to get in. As a result, the team scaled up the Voronoi frog to a point, where the upper geometry is barely smaller than the inner diameter of the lid of the mason jar. The team also enlarged the funnel size, especially the diameter at the bottom of the funnel to better trap the flies. Credit is due to ichibey for the excellent Voronoi Garden Frog model
