UPDATE! - I finally got some filament in and printed this out, and when I did I realized I needed to make some changes, specifically I needed tighter tolerances and a shorter center peg. I made these changes and have printed it out again, and this time it seems to work perfectly. I have deleted the old files because they didn't work correctly. This is an update to my previous yoyo, making it extremely customizable and interchangable. All you need to do is print out 2 of the yoyo sides and the center peg, insert your string in the hole and tie it, then glue the peg and sides together. You now have a yoyo that you can use. However, thats kinda boring, so to make it more interesting print out some of the faceplates I have included. Those should press fit into the outside of your yoyo, and now you have a yoyo with a cool design! want to change the color of the design on the yoyo or just put in a new plate? you can either use a pair of pliers or a flat object to pop the plate out and swap it. The best part is you can create any design you want! The faceplates are 55 mm circles that are 3 mm tall, so if you have access to any CAD software you can use those dimensions to create a blank plate, then create your design on that and print! Now you have a personalized YoYo! The 3 pieces for the yoyo print in about 2 and a half hours, and the yoyo plates i designed print in less than an hour and also use less than 10 grams of filament, making them excellent to use as filament swatches.
