Scott Summers' Badge from X-Men: Apocalypse
Description
My very first design, 3D print, and prop! (I forgot to design with tolerances so Cross piece was printed at 97% size) I made this for a friend's 'Scott Summers' Halloween costume. Only having the official Ray-bans from the movie felt lacking so I offered to add another prop to the outfit. Printed on a CR-10 Mini, using Hatchbox PETG. Everything printed very smooth, not much had to be done to the Exterior piece. Small sanding sticks and needle files were used to preserve the beveled detail in the center. To wear the badge, I used some JB Weld, a set of magnetic clasps from some old purse, and a heavy-duty clothespin.
