Camera Mount for Anet A6/A8 using coolant pipe

Camera Mount for Anet A6/A8 using coolant pipe

Description

Designing this thing I wanted to combine well-tested and graceful engineering ideas. The essence of the project is the convenience and reliability of fixing the position of the camera using a coolant pipe/hose. It is specifically designed and assembled for similar purposes and it does not become too loose. The basis of the project is the "Anet A8 Heatbed Camera Mount Logitech C920" by Catchy. This mount was redesigned to hold the "PCB Workstation Coolant Pipe Base Socket Remix" by zeropage, which is ordinarily used with "PCB Workstation with Articulated Arms" by giufini. Some parts of these projects left as is and prefixed with "native-" in filenames. Coolant pipes may differ slightly, so I included SCAD file by zeropage just to collect all parts together. For example my coolant pipe thread diameter is 55mm. I recommend to print small parts without supports but at low speed. There are two versions of RT-mount: BLFR — for rear left or front right corner BRFL — for rear right or front left corner Camera PCB holder is designed for PCB 30x25mm and has the pin with a shape of pentahedral pyramid to fit tight and prevent rotations. Your can easily design your own one. If you own Raspberry Pi Camera I also offer modification of "Octoprint + Raspberry Pi Camera case" by dcgrigsby with the same pin. All you need except these parts is the coolant hose. You can buy it on Amazon or Ebay for about 1$ / 1€.
