Motor vibration Isolators (soft mount)
Description
Those are 100% motor to frame isolators. It's needed to drill out the original motor mounting holes of the frame, up to 5mm. Acording the thikness of the frame, the Zaxis has to be scalled proportionnaly in your slicer, so that he insert tube has to be at least 1mm higher than the frame thikness, so that it can sustain some mounting compression. Use apropriated long M3 screws, Do not overtight them! Most of the times tread look is not needed, as the TPU acts like a looknut. Top an bottom parts, can be used in conjuction with skid pads. To fit the motor only the insert part is required, on some motors it can be reversed, according to the size of the contact surface between the bottom of the motor it self. EXPERIMENTAL; print it with 25% concentric infill, and without top layer, this will greatly reduce the contact surface. So well so good.
