Geeetech E180 MKS-Mod

Geeetech E180 MKS-Mod

Description

One year ago, I bought the "Geeetech E180". The alignment of the print bed was already a challenge in which the printer has almost destroyed itself. But then I did it. When printing for the first time, the touchscreen is frozen. I waited for the end of the print and restarted the printer. After that, I only got a white screen, nothing went anymore!!! I could only operate the printer with the software. I have never seen such a bad printer. I really wanted to smash that printer against a wall. But that would have been too bad. So, So I decided to remove everything that is bad (electronics, wiring, motors and parts of the mechanics) I rebuilt the printer with an MKS-Base v1.5 / MKS-TFT 28 v3.0, replaced the original extruder by a J-Head (With some modifications) and made a new wiring / little bit different. It came out, what can be seen in the photos. A printer, with a good operating concept, for printing small parts up to max. 120x120x120mm. The printer is controlled by "Repetier-Host", exactly like my "Kossel 360". It prints really good results, as you can already see from me in some “Made”. For those who are interested, I've attached all of my designed components and configurations to this project. Have fun :-)
