Kitchen Towel Eiffel Tower

Kitchen Towel Eiffel Tower

Description

A different take on your typical Eiffel Tower model! I needed a new paper towel holder, and instead of buying the same old metal or wood thing from your local hardware or grocery store I decided to design my own. The idea came when watching a particular movie where a giant sandwich gets impaled on the Eiffel Tower - You know which one I'm referencing here. ;) When the roll is full, it's supposed to look like the core of the tower is simply hiding inside the kitchen towels. This tower takes kitchen towels with an inner tube diameter of at least 40mm. *And I think it looks pretty darn cool.* To build your own you need to print the following parts: *1x Kitchen_Towel_Eiffel_Tower_Base.stl 1x Kitchen_Towel_Eiffel_Tower_Middle.stl 1x Kitchen_Towel_Eiffel_Tower_Top.stl 4x Kitchen_Towel_Eiffel_Tower_Feet.stl* The tower can then be assembled with a few drops of super glue between each part. Refer to Kitchen_Towel_Eiffel_Tower_Complete.stl as to how the parts go together. You printer needs to be able to print parts at least *186x186x198* mm (XYZ) in size to print this model. If your printer has a build area bigger than *200x250x200*, then all parts can be printed in one go. *This model is based on the one created by the extraordinary Pranav Panchal: https://grabcad.com/library/eiffel-tower I merely solidified the model to simplify it for FDM printing and adapted it for my purposes. All credit for the original modelling goes to Pranav Panchal* Happy Printing!
