Filament Clamp Holder 1.75mm

Filament Clamp Holder 1.75mm

Description

This is a little holder for your 1.75mm filament ,so the filament do not get tangled up . If you found this design very helpful or otherwise wish to support me ,you can buy me a cup of coffee ( helps keeping the brain active so i can create new stuff ) ;-) ,then please consider using this link : I have designed this holder with a larger hole in the one end and a smaller one in the other end "the arrows indicate from which end you have to push the end-tip through " ,this ensures that the loose end of the filament can get pushed through the holder BUT be aware of, that you might have to snip off the end tip of the filament if the end-tip is too big after you have been printing with it . After the end-tip have been pushed through ,you simply just crimp the holder over another filament thread and you now have secured the filament from being tangled up . After you have printed this be aware of that if your retraction settings is not dialed in you will have tiny whispers of filament between the open gabs in the holder ,i do recommend that you take a small knife and scrape them away ,this ensures that the filament glides perfectly into the holder. Note: I found that if this Clamp is being printed in ordinary Pla and you put your filament roll in a de-moisture chamber (i have heated it up to 70 degrees Celsius for several hours ) the pla clamp gets too soft and can't hold onto the filament anymore . So if you use a heating/de-moisture chamber a lot ,do consider printing this clamp in abs , carbon-petg,nylon or another higher temp material that can handle 70 degrees for a longer period.
