Teflon Tube to Festo Harness Mainly For MMU2.0
Description
I didn't like the idea of having a very long 640mm teflon tube directly attached to the MMU2 unit where it is almost impossible to service and troubleshoot with that length. I took a spare of my teflon and cut short ~100mm and attached to the mmu2 fastener at the back. It was hard to get the tube held in place for all 5 of them and now I don't even want to reopen and re-seat the teflon tube again in there, almost poked my eye several times due to its shorter length. It worked well with my overhead pvc pipe spool holder, except that it is way higher than the teflon/mmu2. This should serve as a tube extender/adapter. If you've fitted in shorter teflon tube and don't want to go to the hassle of re-seating the teflon again, print the festo fastener, it should works with or without festo screwed in, unless you want to connect to a longer teflon tube, put in festo there. A set of screw and nylon nut to clamp the teflon there. If you want to have a cleaner build, print the larger plate that is for mmu2 teflon side, modified to have slots for festo. This version has not been tested but theoretically you have to undo almost all of the screws to re-seat the teflon tube inside, except this thing will be held by the festo instead of manually by hand The festo used for these models are 6mm thread type and M3 screws. For my setup, these are meant to be paired with https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3225814
