Dish drainer stand
Description
I needed a prop to raise our dish-drainer up to an angle where it would let the water actually drain out and not clog at the bottom so I made this. At almost 13", it's one of the biggest things I've made so far, but one of the more functional. There are feet at the bottom for air to circulate around and keep it dry. A notch in the top of each "foot" allows the drainer to sit comfortably on the stand and not slip when nudged. I made it in one piece because I thought if I just made blocks for the legs, they would be likely to get nudged or knocked around while putting dishes in the drainer/dryer itself. If you're really concerned about it slipping around on a wet countertop you could attach little rubber feet I guess.
