Dwarf Figures

Dwarf Figures

Description

These are three dwarf figures at approximately 28mm scale. I know that some fantasy stories imagine dwarfs as almost twice the size of men but for this set, and any others I might release in the future, I am using the size comparison to humans the way illustrated by Tolkien books and movies. They should print completely without supports with only a few hairs hanging off. This set includes: -A Dwarf carrying swards in his arms -A Dwarf with a shield and a pike (long spear-like weapon) -A Dwarf holding a hammer high above his head (this one was designed as if he/she was working in a blacksmith shop) The story that I made up for these dwarfs is that the one with the hammer is the father of the other two. One of the brothers decided to join the city's army, breaking the family tradition of working the blacksmith shop which has been continuing for generations. The other brother stayed true to his heritage and started work for their father. While the father realizes that a tradition is just a tradition and has been proud of his son for doing what he wants, the brother has believed in the family tradition for all his life and will attempt to continue to uphold that tradition as long as he lives. *Note*: I did have a problem slicing them properly but that could be my slicer's problem. The problem was that parts of the model would not register when making the gcode and the whole thing would end up with gaps. If you do have a problem with slicing the whole thing, turn up the infill to 100% (or as high as it can go) and try again. Because the model is so small anyways this should not objectively change the print time or filament used.
