C1-10P Battery Box
Description
Update: Modified the design for really thin wall, 3mm an added cut outs for my motors, the overall height has also been reduced about 10mm. You will need to print mirrored parts to get the opposite hand clearance and mounting points. Really happy with the results. Credit to TinyP for his concept design on the Astromech forums which gave me the idea for this. This is the battery box design I am using on my C1-10P "Chopper"build from star wars, this attaches with 2 screws to my timber footshells It shouldn't need any supports when printing the parts vertically as all the overhangs are 45° and the key hole mount hole has a modelled vertical support with a 0.05mm air gap in the support bridge piece, easily cut out later with side cutters. I haven't included cut outs for the motors as not everyone will need them, easy enough to model it in in any software or hack it out with a dremel or saw later.
