MTD Pan/Tilt Mount Plate
Description
This is a mounting plate to cleanly install the PROPAN2 from FPVGadgets.com on the nose of the MyTwinDream (MTD). Mounting ears on the PROPAN2 need to be cut off to cleanly fit into the mount. These ears will not be needed as the PROPAN2 is secured to the mounting plate with the 4 screws used to hold the frame together. A Template is included so you can mark the area to cut out to fit the assembly in the nose. Position template with rear lip facing down and against the rear edge of the foam deck. Align the V notch with the seam in the fuselage. Foam strip at the rear of the deck will be thin and caution must be used when cutting. i installed a thin carbon strip into the foam to give it more strength (seen in picture). Wooden blocks were cut and sanded to shape to fit in to the recesses for the mounting bolts. Blind nuts were installed into the blocks and the blocks glued into the fuselage with the template fitted with the 2 mounting screws until glue drys.
