Jet BD920 5019 Cross Slide Hand Wheel bracket

My cross slide was always hard to turn, I even made a bigger wheel. Well one day I noticed it was cracked. The new part 5019 was $70 and made of what I call pot metal. Don't know what it was made of but it's about as strong a pewter. I just bored and reamed the aluminum block and it seems to work perfectly. I figured if it didn't work well I'd bore it for some 8mm brass bushings. I hope this is of use for someone out there. Kisssys This is not intended for plastic 3D printing.
