Ender 3 Slotted Filament Guide

Ender 3 Slotted Filament Guide

Description

This is a remix of the extremely simple and yet effectively functional original by User MattEllison. Thanks for the thing Matt! Why the remix? What if I, in a hurry, decide to load the filament and forget to pull it through the filament guide? This Remixed version with an awkward slanted slot can help with that! The slot allows for the filament to be inserted into the guide even after the filament has been loaded into the extruder and the 3D print has already commenced. The filament won't back out of the guide because it moves almost vertical to the surface, and if it has to back out, it has to twist to the angle of the slot. I really doubt it can do that on its own! There are 2 versions, the one with the original length and the other shortened by at least 20 mm. The shorter version permits mounting the filament guide (even) if the spool holder is mounted all the way to the outer most end of the top cross-member of the Ender 3.
