Harbor Freight trim router circle jig

Harbor Freight trim router circle jig

Description

The mini trim router that Harbor Freight sells comes with a bracket that can be used as a circle jig for radiuses ~62mm to ~162mm. What you will need: 1. A longish M3 screw (25-40mm long, whatever you feel like you need), 5.5mm hex M3 nut, and M3 washer (for the pivot point and knob holder) 2. Drillmaster 62659 trim router (or similar product number) and the parts/brackets/fasteners included with the router Print the bits, screw the knob to the handle with the M3 screw, you may want to loctite the thread to keep it from loosening. Measure the distance from the router bit to the M3 screw to get your circle radius and use the included wingnut and carriage bolt to tighten the assembly. Drill a 3mm pilot hole and use it as the pivot for the jig. The knob part is technically optional, but it makes it nicer to use the tool. This is my first upload so if you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I'll be updating all my projects from here on in as I make improvements from using these tools.
