Yet Another Wanhao i3 Fan Shroud/Cooler

Yet Another Wanhao i3 Fan Shroud/Cooler

Description

So like most people, I have been rocking the DiiCooler for a long time on my Wanhao i3. It is a great cooler, but it is time to try something new. Mainly because I've used my current DiiCooler for so long It had a few burn holes in it... At first I tried designing my own circular cooler similar to the DiiCooler, but gave up on that project eventually because it got overly complicated. At least I got a few working prototypes of that design! Now starting over, my main goals were: hot end visibility, minimal hot end temp fluxuation, and performance similar to the stock cooler on the Ender 3. It is currently my favorite printer, so I set out to design a cooler that could at least be simple and also perform halfway decent. If you are looking for a high performance cooler, this probably isn't it. However I think it performs well, and have posted pictures of the 50mm bridge test performed by both the Ender 3, and my new cooler on the Wanhao i3. I designed the fan shroud to blow air at an angle under the nozzle. This design uses a 40mm fan (I based the holes from the fan shroud by cablestud https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2789648). Holes can either be tapped or gently forced using a M3 bolt. My final fan shroud was printed in PETG, and I forced a couple nuts underneath the top connection just to be safe. p.s. I also uploaded my current 40mm fan covers. Their design is one I made a long time ago from a combination of several fan covers here on Thingiverse. If I can remember the exact designers I will give credit where it is due! They are pressure fit with posts to help hold them in place.
