Vape Roulette Turntable V1
Description
After following this superb Fusion 360 tutorial on making a fidget spinner (I was just looking for how to create concentric nut holes) I ended up actually making the fidget spinner, very helpful if you need Fusion 360 practice like me. Desktop Makes Tutorial: https://youtu.be/vAFLTGvKlDI He's also on Thingieverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/Desktop_Makes/about Any way I then began to wonder what I could use it for and came up with this small turntable design to hold 6 vape tanks/RDA's. Printed it of in draft 0.2 resolution as a test and it came out better than expected, this thing spins FAST, the only downside is 608 bearings tend to have play in them so it wobbles a bit with 6 tanks on it, I am now reworking another version with a larger size, properly oriented holes and 3 x 6mm ball bearings in the base to prevent the wobble. It's likely to have less spin but more stable for my needs. Bill of materials: 1/ PLA (obviously) 2 / One x 608 bearing (ironically I got mine from cutting them out of cheap fidget spinners) 3: Three x Gel domed self adhesive pads for the base. 4: Three x M8 Nuts I hope you find this useful, even if you only print the base it's great fun with the fidget spinner on it.
