Ender - Boy Fallout Theme Ender-2 Housing with Pi Zero
Description
I present my latest project - The Ender - Boy. I recently got a bunch of new filament and wanted to do a project. In this mod I replaced the original housing completely. I replaced the 40mm fan with a 60mm fan. The right side panel houses a pi zero w. The front port and sd card are covered. My thoughts were that I am only using octoprint now so I don't need to access the front as often. I wanted to reduce the cables from the pi coming out the front and directed them out the side and back. I designed the parts to look like something you would see in any of the fallout games. If you are curious about the filament I used, it is just cheap bronze metallic and black with a little gray swapped in on the top vent. Parts I added (I included a version that uses the stock internal 40mm fan still) 60mm case fan lots of m3 bolts mainly 20 and 16mm some random others Pi Zero W A lot of the stock screws and stuff can be reused. Assembly: It gets a bit awkward to get the screws and stuff in. You'll want a pair of needle nose pliers and tweezers to get things in. It took me a bit to get everything in place but it is possible. If you switch around the display cable it fits better. The chain side is compatible with this chain https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2802560 A couple of the parts have been fine tuned from my print so they will be a bit better. Detailed parts I printed at .1 layer and the bigger ones I printed at .3. I used supports where needed.
