1954 Ford F100 Pickup simplified cnc
Description
I used RC_Showdown's great model and made a few modifications: * more space efficient nesting * reduced points on curved geometry * removed a few stray lines/points * minor changes in the geometry (lenshood/cut outs) The model was cut from 9.5 mm beech plywood with a 2.4 mm spiral toothed end mill on my Sorotec BasicLines. It took approx. 10 minutes. After the glue-up I finished the model with mineral oil. In order the round the tires I mount them on my cordless screwdriver and sand the edges. Works great and removes any marks from the cnc. I did refrain from dying the tires because I had to finish quickly. This truck will be a nice Christmas present for a friend of mine.
