Wire Spool Dispenser Rack Assembly

Wire Spool Dispenser Rack Assembly

Description

Bought a few spools of wiring for electronic projects and decided to knock up a quick design to hold the spools but my OCD got the better of me and ended up more than I intended but chuffed to bits with it. Wire was from Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07G732HNX/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07G744V5Z/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 **UPDATED TO INCLUDE RH END PIECE** also added a step file if you want to edit or add your own text to the front plate. Print List - Perfect Fit: Wire-Spool-Holder_v2.stl. Wire-Spool-HolderRH v3.stl Wire-Spool-Plate-REAR.stl x 1 WireSpoolSpacer_v2.stl x 12 These convert 25mm spools to 19mm and also help rotation (and looks - OCD!) (I used 100% infill as it made little difference in time & material) Wire-Spool-Plate-Front-BLANK.stl I have included an 18 Gauge and a 26 Gauge version or use the BLANK version to add your own label. Additional part: 19mm Chrome Tube - VERY useful on many other projects and cheap from Tool Station 5 x 1200mm pack https://www.toolstation.com/wardrobe-rail/p89971 Cut to 150mm long. ---------------------------- Basic version simply fit without spacers, this assembly will work fine without the spacers, they will just not be a snug fit and chances of spools becoming messy. Printing: I HATE Supports and removing them so I try to design everything without supports, everything is a press fit apart from the front and back support plates which I super glued into place. Spacers printed at 100% infill 0.2 res The rest is 20% infil at 0.2 res (Optional print front plate at 0.1 res for better quality face) Enough blurb, I hope it's of use to someone, likes and comments appreciated, keeps me motivated to share my designs :)
