Table Saw Crown Guard with 63mm dust extraction
Description
Crown guard designed for my Startrite 175 table saw (10" blade). It may work for other saws but I expect you will need to either make a custom riving knife or adjust the design to ensure the two horizontal rods align with any riving knife cutouts. The full STL is included, however I have also split the design for the following reasons: - The front section is connected to the main body by a dovetail purely because of the size of my printer bed. - To allow higher infill around the clamping hole I sectioned the back end of the model so I could apply different processes. I am aware that you can "fool" some slicers into putting in reinforcement by putting hollows within a single model, but I've not played around with that yet. Be aware that if you are printing in ABS as I do, then you're going to need a brim/helper discs on the end of the main body where the dovetail is - you've got a long, tall, narrow piece of ABS there which is the perfect recipe for lifting/warping.
