Party Glass mat and place - name
Description
I made this to use a place - name and glass mat for Christmas. I have added blank versions with no text but, if you have FreeCad, you can edit the text in the cad drawings included. You will also need the "Circular text" macro: https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/Macro_Circular_Text Obviously you can also use the macro and the blank versions and make your own texts! I have included a shot of my settings. Once you have added the text you can't modify the position very easily but you can change the letters. Via the "combo box" If you use the Free cad file with "Stefano" file, there is a space at the begining and end of the name. Hence you can change the letters and actually make a 9 letter name. Where there are the spaces, you will see an exclamation mark. I assume because I used "pad" but there is nothing to "pad". However, the parts prints OK anyway. There is also a rim on top or the part and corresponding recess on the bottom so that the mats can be stacked. They took a while to print at 45mm/s. I could have made them hollow but wanted a solid looking part.
