Reef board game insert

Reef board game insert

Description

I printed this using my ender 3. I used silk pla, to give it a nice looking finish and the colours are pretty close to the game components. The large space to the right is intended to be there to fit the mini expansion. I currently don't own it but I am looking into getting it. The boxes don't slide around enough to cause any concern and fit in the box fairly tight, but not tight enough that you need to pry them out. The card holder is quite snug in the box. I didn't like the original insert created by PrintNPlay3D, because I store my games virtically, and with his/her insert, all the coral pieces and coins would just be a mess. I opted for the enclosed approach. If you play with less than 4 people you simply remove the pieces you don't want. As depicted in one of the pictures you can also use the boxes as part of the game setup so everyone can just grab coral from their respective boxes, which I feel adds some more functionality. Not that this game has a lot of setup I like to use inserts to their fullest. The card holder also supports sleeved cards! Print Coral Box - x4 each in a different color if you want Print Coin box -X2 Print one money box -X1 Print Cards lid and base 1X each For me it wast about 30 hours of printing in total, however you can feel free to modify the the thickness of the boxes to reduce the material used and time. I felt I needed thicker boxes for strength as the game does get transported from house to house.
