PRUSA ENCLOSURE FILAMENT SPOOL STABD
Description
This is a filament spool stand for holding filaments spool on top of an enclosure (I made it for the IKEA LACK TABLE Enclosure). I did this because I was having trouble with the spool falling using the type of holder on which the spools just sit on bearings on a frame. This one works regardless of what material the spool is made of (my picture shows one spool made of card board (SAINT SMART, I think, it could not stand on its own, it had to be hung...)) You print two of the _double stand, two of the _single stand if you want to make a system for holding three spools of filament. If you only want for on spool, then just print two of the double, or two of the single. If your enclosure is IKEA LACK TABLE, which is basically made of cardboard and not compatible with screws.., you mount these stands on a piece of board first, then VELCRO the board onto the top of the LACK table (as shown in the photos). The Rods for hanging the spools are 3/4 inch PVC pipe segments (around 4.25 inches long). I made caps to cover the ends of each PVC pipe. You can saw slits near the ends of the PVC pieces if you want to cap to latch and not easy to fall off.
