Dinosaur Island Coins
Description
I created replacement coins for Dinosaur Island. The metal coins can be heavy and the paint can chip off after some time. Likewise the cardboard coins are about as durable as the tinfoil around a baked potato and wear out if you look at them wrong. These coins solve both of those problems. The basic coins are the same dimensions of the metal ones included with the Extreme Edition (Kickstarter exclusive) version of the game, so they can be used as replacements. (1.75mm thick x 30mm diameter) However, after test printing I found they felt thin, flimsy, and lacked quality. The V2 version of these coins is 3mm thick, adding significantly more durability and a much better feel in the hand. I also created new custom edge detail myself for some extra flair. If you want to print your own exact set and upgrade your existing game with Kickstarter quantities, you'll need: 50x $1 coins 15x $5 coins 7x $10 coins However, I recommend throwing 9 of them on a bed (if you can) and just hitting go as many times as you'd like. I know I'm always running low on $5 coins in 4 and 5 player games, so I recommend probably closer to 25 of them. Have fun with it.
