Bed probe holder for RepRapPro Tricolor/Mono Mendel
Description
This Part Mounts On Top Of The X Carriage To Hold A Microswitch For A Bed Probe. The Switch Is Held In Place By Friction, And Is Turned By Hand To Lower And Raise The Probe. The Probe Itself Is A Thin Metal Rod Attached To The Switch By Careful Bending Of The Rod And The Metal Strip Of The Switch (Look At The Picture Closely). The Rod Goes Through A Hole Drilled In The Bottom Of The Carriage Cover. At The Bottom, It Is Bent Into A Hook To Not Damage The Bed. The Probe Holder Part Attaches To The Carriage With Two M3 Screws Which Go Into Nuts Within The Carriage. If You Did Not Insert Nuts When You Assembled The Carriage, You Will Need To Put It Apart And Insert Them. Note That The Two Screws Need To Be Just The Right Length. Too Short And They Won'T Reach The Nuts, Too Long And They'Ll Hit The Smooth Rod And Block Movement. 11.5Mm Seems To Be The Sweet Spot. This Part Is Designed With My [Scadgen](Https://Github.Com/Ambrop72/Scadgen) Python Tool, Which Can Output Openscad Or Openjscad Code. To Generate Openscad And Open The Result: Python2.7 <Scadgen>/Main.Py Probe_Holder.Py -O Output.Scad -S
