Minature holder/transport
Description
When I just got a 3D printer I started printing miniatures to use in my DND games only to find out that a shopping back tends to break some of them. So i needed a different way to transport them. I made a ''briefcase'' of MDF which would fit a layered miniature holder. Limited by the size of my print bed I made them in a size where I would be able to glue the side holders to the sides of the case and the center risers in the middle of them. The risers and outer supports have a pattern at the same height which allows you to slide in the tray's. The size of these trays is very specific to the case I used therefore you may be better of just using this as inspiration for your own build. The tray for medium creatures holds up to 5 miniatures per lane. The large trays hold 2.5 large creatures per lan and also contains a lane for medium size creatures. The side with the handle on the case has rings glued to the inside where I have used some wire to fix those trays in place, this makes the miniatures stored on that side a little hard to access but prevents the trays from sliding during transport (also using wire to fix the spacing between the 2 supports of the center riser). The trays in the back are then secured to the ones in front using clips from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1919457. Altogether it's not a perfect solution but it works for me so far and since people on Facebook asked for the files I figured I might as well upload them. I hope they will be helpful to you and I look forward to seeing people making good use of them or making their own versions of them.
