Interesting 3D Scanner
Description
This is a 3D scanner I made when I got bored in 3D modeling class. I figured it looked pretty cool so I decided to make a model. The design is based off of a concept gif I found online. As far as I am aware there are no other models of this specific design. Also if you decide to print it you may want to make it a tad bit large as the scanner in the front is a bit too thin to print. You will want support material for this print. potentially try using tree support if you don't have dual extrusion available. Also if you encounter any problems printing this (why would you print this...) Feel free to leave a comment and I'll fix it ASAP. UPDATE 2/5/2019: I while printing with tree support I found Cura does not make any support for the "scanner" in the front so I added some. I still advise activating tree support with the support model as there is nothing in the back to hold the heat sinks up.
