FYSETC F6 v1.3 Bear Frame Enclosure
Description
BOM: 6 - 3x8mm magnet (door retention, glue in with CA or epoxy) 8 - M3x16 screw (cable clamps) 8 - M3 Nut (cable clamps) 4 - M3x6 screw (pcb mounting) 4 - M5x8 screw (box to standoff, standoff to frame) 4 - M3 Threaded Insert (pcb mounting) 2 - M5 Threaded Insert (box to standoff) Electronics: 1 - Nocuta NF-A9x14 Fan (12v fan. you may need a buck adapter to feed this correctly) 1 - FYSETC F6 v3.1 Zip Ties: All slots are designed around the Utilitech brand 4in (10,16cm) cable ties that are sold at Lowes in the US. their cross section measures .98mm x 2.37mm. It is a snug fit but they do work in the model without modification. Fusion 360 project: https://a360.co/2TvgO2e Top wiring passthroughs are for MMU2, Extruder, Hotend. Rear wiring passthrough is for Heatbed. Bottom opening for XYZ steppers, PSU in Front slit above standoff for LCD Ribbons. Edits: I've updated the door and standoffs to have sacrificial bridging on the holes. Small adjustments to screw sizes in the BOM. Found an issue with the original clamp file. There was a bit missing where the screw head sets. Heat set nut info. I used the following inserts: M3: https://amzn.com/B07D683Q26 these are ~5.3mm on the knurling ~4.9mm at center diameter and ~4.9mm tall. M5: https://amzn.com/B077CHGNRV these are ~8.3mm on the knurling ~7.8mm on the smooth "insert this side first" end ~6.75mm tall. Please please please provide back info on other inserts if you find issues or success during assembly. Also worst case if you have issues with inserts pulling out don't be afraid of a touch of super glue to help keep things in place. this enclosure doesn't endure any real loads so such a "fix" is a great way to salvage the printed parts.
