Glass plate binder clip adapter
Description
Made these binder clip adaptor that hold the glass in place on my printer head plate. 2 version 19mm and 25mm The adapter clear the printing area for more printing space. It also make the removal and installation of the glass easy, you don't have to take all clip off, one side can stay in place. You just slide the glass from under, You might melt them once a while during bed leveling but your printing head will never hit a metal clip again. I print them by the dozen :) On my printer (wanaho dup i3) it allow the cooling system on print head to move over the clip without contact. After cleaning the adapter take a clip and : 1- Insert one side, 2- Clip it on someting 3- Press the other side with a tool. (ex.: use wrong end of a spoon ) I only use 19 mm clip on my printer but made a 25mm version. I folded in C some stripe of thin cardboard (the clip package). Made sure top slide under the glass plate (so it is shimmed) and bottom under the heat bed (to protect heat element) and clip on those pieces. (see picture for ref.) Work well! Probably optional (better safe than sorry) Abs will work great if you print with heat . I tested up to 110°C Include: 2 sizes (19_25mm) and Blend file.
