case - component tester 001

Description

- A case for a barebones component tester. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-tracking-DIY-kits-Mega328-LCD-Transistor-Tester-Digital-Combo-Diode-Triode-capacitor-inductance-resistor-SCR/32746416115.html - needs: 4x M3x30mm bolt (whatever head type) 4x M3 square nuts - works for me: - PLA, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layers, 1.2mm wall/top/bottom thickness, specify 0.4mm external perimeters in slic3r, 20% triangles infill - support: Only on TOP, to hold up the inset area in one corner Support in the rouned corners of each part's circumference is moot. You do NOT want support in the DOOR slide area, nor the square NUT recesses. - note: Nut recesses are 'skinned over' with a single layer. This negates the need for support. Shove a drill bit through it and maybe clean it off with a blade. The DOOR is a little tight. It needs to be, and even just a slightly rough surface finish on it's final layer, or some guff in the two slots it slides through may seem like a serious blockage. I was about to design it smaller but after running a file through the slots and across the rough top surface (avoiding the lumps) it works fine.
