Modular Wire-Frame Circle Chandelier/Lampshade
Description
This is a modular chandelier/lampshade with a "metal wire" look. It is printed in 6 pieces and there is different type of inclination for the wires so you can mix & match to give different looks. Each piece as a hole and a tiny bit protruding to assemble the whole lampshade. The tolerances are calculated for my printed to not require any glue, but if it's too tight or too loose you can juste file the protruding bits or pour a drop of glue on the holes. For a complete lampshade you need to print at least the support, one Top_Left, one Top_Right, and 4 other segments. The basic support is for a common light-fixture in europe, but there is the "multi" support for smallers sockets (you just need to cut one or multiple rings off it once printed). All the pieces are also compatible with my Hexagon lampshade (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3337931) so you can mix circle and hexagon design. Let me know if you like it/print it :) ! PS: A thing I tried that's not in the photos is to cut some of the wires and make them soft with a lighter and bend them. It gives more of a 3D/random look =)
