Stargate Zero Point Module (ZPM)
Description
- I remixed the design to print the main body as 1 piece so that no line would be visible when illuminated. - I designed a hidden switch into the base to turn it on and off. (the center red crystal) - I added an interior mount for the lights. (the light bar has room in the middle for a battery pack) - I added a display base design. I mounted my ZPM to the base and hard wired it so that I wouldn't have to change batteries and I don't really plan on moving it around much. I made it to go on my prop shelf. Supplies I Used: - 3D Solutech See Through Orange PLA (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MB2TW86) - Translucent Red PLA (only needed for center crystal OR you can paint it) - Metallic Acrylic Paint - Crimson (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GJLJB8) - Metallic Acrylic Paint - Pearlescent Emerald (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004BP1KFY) - Ustellar Dimmable 600 LED Light Strip Daylight White (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074N4YVDK) - Latching Type Push Button Switch (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XF6PT9L) - Spring (I used the spring out of an old TP roll holder and cut it in half similar to - https://www.amazon.com/Danco-88648-Toilet-Paper-Holder/dp/B00JJXMAI4) Switch DEMO: https://youtu.be/O9XEQs2jyn4
