Blackstar ID Core Footswitch
Description
I liked the form factor of the original thing, but it didn't quite fit the components I had at hand. I've included 2 versions here. One with LED light guides for 5mm and one without. People considering using Mode 2 in the Insider software might be better off going with No LEDs version. This is supposed to be a DIY version of the Blackstar FS-11 switch for ID Core series of practice amps. ID Core 10 is not officially supported, but having the same board as used in ID Core 20, it has all the pins to solder a stereo TRS female socket and allow for footsiwtch functionality - https://www.blackstaramps.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5083 The footswitch works with the amp on the hardware level, however to set up the behaviour between Mode 1 (switch between 2 patches) and Mode 2 (cycle up and down through patches), Insider v1.5.0 must be used to recognize the ID Core 10 board as supported. BOM: 2x SPDT latching (!) stomp switches, I've used NC outputs on both 1x ACJS-HHDR stereo TRS female socket 2x any colour 12V 5mm LEDs you can find 1x 1 kOhm 1/4W resistor for blue/white/green LED 1x 1.4 kOhm 1/4W resistor for red LED 4x M3 DIN 934 nuts 4x M3x10 flat head bolts Quirks: The firmware inside the amp will cycle the patches, not the voices as one might think. So if a stored (or a default) patch has effects enabled, the effects will be enabled when switched to said patch no matter the state of the EFFECTS stomp switch. Having said that, the LED might not always reflect the true state of things, hence having included a No LEDs version.
