Anycubic Photon Resin Wash Bracket Adapter
Description
WIP - Not yet printed or tested. Washing the resin prints and print surface can be a pain, so the idea of this part is to be combined with a tupperware filled with alcohol or other similar container sitting on a magnetic stirrer to help facilitate the process. The tupperware lid will need to have a rectangular cut and this part glued in place within it, it serves as a seating for the print bed so that it can rest just at the right level with the printed part resting inside the alcohol. Tools/parts required: * Tupperware of suitable size (large enough that the printed part can dangle down into it, but not so large that you need to fill it up with large volumes of alcohol). * This printed part (in a material suitable for exposure to alcohol). * Cutting implement to cut a rectangle equal to the size of the lower dimension of the part, knives can be used, but you get much better precision and control with something like a dremel. * Glue of a suitable type to attach the adapter to the cut tupperware lid. * Magnetic stirrer with corresponding metal 'spinner'. * Alcohol or other suitable solvent (as always). Cleaning method (once all mounted): 1. Remove/drain the part of the majority of the dripping resin so that this is not lost (as usual). 2. Ensure the tupperware has the lid on it, with this adapter glued in place and dry/cured, and filled with alcohol to the correct level (the idea is that the print base should be slightly touching the alcohol to ensure the resin part is full submerged). 3. Drop the magnetic stirring metal capsule into the alcohol (it may already be in there). 4. Place the tupperware on top of the magnetic stirring machine. 5. The print bed, along with the still attached printed resin part, can be inserted into the center of the printed adapter (already attached to the tupperware lid). 6. Holding the top of the bed to ensure nothing falls over, turn the magnetic stirrer on and slowly up the speed till it is spinning the metal capsule inside and causing the alcohol to stir. 7. After a few minutes the part will be washed, optionally you can gently brush the part. 8. Remove any supports and the resin print from the print bed and dry off as you prefer. 9. Cure as always. Once I have printed and tested this I will be uploading a more detailed and clear guide (quite difficult without pictures). It really is much simpler than all of those steps, but I wanted to make sure that I explained it clearly.
