Lithophane Frame (4x)
Description

Overview
This frame can held 4 lithophanes. The frame should be hung in front of a window. There is a special corner part with an eyelet to hang it up.
Parts
To build a frame together you will need the following parts: - 2x corner top - 2x corner - 2x top-bottom - 2x right-left (my best result was printing with tree support) - 1x middle (my best result was printing with tree support) - 2x middle_half (my best result was printing with tree support)
Lithophanes
It is important to create the lothophanes as described below so they will fit into the frame. I've also uploaded a sample picture with the according sample lithophane. The source for the litophanes are pictures with an aspect ratio of 4:3. The resolution is (1024*n)x(768*n), e.g. 1024x768, 2048x1536, 3072x2304, 4094x3072, … XNView is a very good tool to resize pictures. With the help of the online tool "Image to Lithophane" (http://3dp.rocks) the stl files for the lithophanes can be created. The following settings should be used so the lithophanes will fit into the picture frame: Model Settings: Maximum Size (MM): 80 Thickness (MM): 3 Border (MM): 3 Thinnest Layer (MM): 0.8 Vectors Per Pixel: 4 Base/Stand Depth: 0 Curve: 0 Image Settings: Positive Image (Switch to the left side) For all other settings the default should be used.
