These Are The Plastic Parts For The Estes Mx Missile Vintage Rocket Kit. Sized For Estes Bt-60 Tubing. The Parts Are Broken Up Into 10 Easy-To-Print Parts That Assemble With Model Cement Or Epoxy Into Parts Nearly Identical To The Classic Kit. You Should Refer To The Link Below For Photos And Assembly Instructions For The Original Kit. You Will Need Those To Properly Use These Parts To Recreate The Kit. If You Are Not Satisfied With The Supports Your Slicer Gives You Can Enable Custom Supports From Inside The Scad File. The Lock Ring And Lock Collar Are Glued Together And Later Glued Into The Body Tube. Just Aft Of The Actual Motor Mount. The Purpose Of This Ring Is To Lock The Display Nozzle And Fin Unit To The Bottom Of The Rocket For Flight. It Does This Using A Bayonet Style Mount. The Motor Mount And Motor Tube Are Glued Together And Then Glued Into The Fin Unit Using The Assembled Lock Ring To Properly Space Them. It Is Important To Not Glue The Fin Unit To The Lock Ring. Just Use The Lock Ring To Get The Spacing Right. The Nozzle, Tank, Plate And Nozzle Tube Glue Together To Provide A Display Nozzle For When The Rocket Is Sitting On The Shelf. You Do Not Glue It In The Lock Ring. It'S Designed To Be Removable And Replaced With The Fin Unit For Flight.
