FoilFan Cooler for Wanhao i3 Plus
Description
Just a fun little remix of a parts cooler using a 40mm fan. This design utilizes an upright 5015 fan to blow air into a multi-channel duct, which directs air out the nozzle and onto the part. I would recommend printing in PETG, ABS, or other higher temperature thermoplastics (PLA may warp). I recommend using supports "touching build plate only," as it helps the nozzle come out a little cleaner. Most of the interior parts are well-supported with small vertical walls. Update 1/15/2019: I will be correcting the nozzle flow shortly. I tested the model and found that the air stream was a bit too high, so I'll be rotating the entire end assembly to get the air blowing in the right place. ;)
