EyePod Mount

EyePod Mount

Description

This is a dual mount for the EyePod. The EyePod is an articulated Eye with an actuated iris and Y axis translation built in. It can be controlled by many controllers. There are provisions for a webcam installation. The EyePod is located here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3314268 This This Thingy is the mount that I use for two EyePods. It would be ideal for an Inmoov replacement. Actuation is by a standard servo. Video of the link mount in operation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnNXrlJtmyA Additional Parts - Timing belt - standard 3D printer 6mm GT2 belt - Eye bearings - 4X 15x10x4 - Idler bearings - 2X 11x4x4 - Belt bearings - 4X 11x4x4 note - if you don't want to use bearings you could print up fake ones against the dimensions above. I made simple discs with holes in them during the setup until I had bearings. They are included. I found the movement much improved with the bearings and they were inexpensive. Assembly Notes -Assemble with just a bit of slack in the belt. After it is screwed together apply belt tension via the tensioner. Use a 5mm bolt.
