Support for Anycubic I3 Mega Spool holder
Description
This is an additional support for the Anycubic I3 Mega spool holder: * https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2734209 * https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2647030 As I did not like the aesthetics of the laser cut acrylic spool holder originally packaged with the I3 Mega (and also due to space constraints), I have printed the holder above. Maybe because I printed it in PLA or too less infill or because my printer sits in a closed cupboard reaching an ambient temperature of about 45°C during printing - the spool holder started to sag due to the weight of the spool. I didn't want to throw away an otherwise perfectly working piece, so I created a support for the spool holder to hold it up against the weight. It can simply be plugged into the existing design. The STL provided here fits for me, where the spool holder is at the lowest position of the Z-bar. See the pictures for details. If your spool holder is mounted on a higher position, the OpenSCAD file is attached for editing. Just change the `base_height_from_center` to the desired height. This is the length from ground to the center of the cylinder holding the spool. (In the pictures you might notice, that I have attached some felt to the bottom of the support. Reason is, my first print came out a bit too short - so I simply fixed it like that. The STL contained is already corrected by adding 2mm in height.)
