Vertex-H with Single E3D-v6 Hot-end
Description
This is remix of my Vertex-H printer published here. The goal was to design lighter cartridge with single hot-end and to improve filament cooling air flow. Both fans used in this design are 30x30x10mm. They are included in E3D-v6 kit. This design allows to use the original PCB from Velleman, however you may need to replace the resistor to make sure E3D fan gets not more than 12V. I am including 3 versions of e3d_clip THING. One is simply fixing E3D in place. e3d_clip_fan addresses the know issue with E3D fan mount which often becomes loose, rotates, vibrates and makes extra noise. e3d_clip_z-probe is designed for use with z-probe from Aus3D All parts can be printed with PLA. Only duct will need bed-only support. Design of e3d-v6_holder THING allows to adjust hot-end position along Z-axis. This is required to make sure the end of the nozzle is about 1mm below the duct. Here is filament duct test recording https://youtu.be/nX1ghzlgRsg Please note - photo shows the carriage that has vertically mounted custom PCB with built-in X-stop sensor. Other parts of shown carriage are identical to the one published here. Since I am not using the original PCB from Velleman, I did not print/test the top and bottom parts of the carriage. If you discover any issues with them, please let me know via Comments section and I will update STLs.
