Racewire - Fullsize and Mini for Quadcopters and Multirotors including Acrobrat
Description
3D printed version of WhiteNoiseFPV's Racewire. Designed to be 3D printed, then have wires inserted within the print to make a pseudo-version of Racewire. Soldering the FC and motor wires can be done at the ends of the Racewire "sleeve", then conformal coated and secured with electrical tape. I like the appearance of this rather than having to deal with shrink tubing. My first release is designed for Ummagawd's Acrobrat since that's the only frame that I use a 4-in-1 ESC at the moment. Releases for a 5 inch will be released soon. For my acrobrat version, I used Striveday's 28 AWG flexible silicone stranded wire. I can certainly make it suit a larger gauge wire, but then it would take up more space along the arms and cause drag. An alternative is to simply leave the top exposed and keep the slots in place to place the wires within and simply tape at the ends. An alternative design that I'm considering is a stepped approach that keeps the wires a little more separated to the adjacent wire. Design ideas most certainly welcomed!!!! Weight is negligible, as you can see, 28 of them didn't weight 1 gram, obviously excluding wires. Fusion360 files are available upon request!
