SUNBEAM KE6100 lid pin
Description
Sunbeam Kettle KE610 lid opening pin. This is a actuator pin that opens the kettle lid when the button on the handle is pressed. I drew it when I was ask if I could repair this kettle. I found the pin was snapped shorter due to the lid been forced shut while the button was pressed. The original is made from nylon. I used ABS as I have no nylon, will see how long it last. ABS is quite strong. Print with bottom on the bed and supports turned on. Starting at the bottom of the handle prise the capping of. this will expose the button and the pin. replace is making sure it operates smoothly. press capping back on. Your done and now a miracle worker. Use a file to smooth the contact surfaces for smooth operation with some silicone grease. Hot end 240, bed 90 layer hight 0.1mm
