Requiere un tubo de ensayo. Diseñado para tubos de Ensayo de 16x150mm (19ml) aunque podría adaptarse a tubos más pequeños. Dispone de un sistema de unión para poder tener todas tus tubos de ensayo en el mismo lugar. La tapa superior incluye un hueco en el que poder pegar un papel con datos sobre la colonia (Como la especie, para no tener que destapar siempre que se te olvide cual es). Hay tres modelos, uno central con enganche a derecha e izquierda, y los otros dos con solo un enganche, a fin de mejorar esteticamente el conjunto (aunque puede hacerse solo con el modelo central) Añadimos version 2.0 Sin agujeros para calor, sin gasto extra de material.
