I am sure I have skipped some steps. Feel free to mention anything you're questioning or stuck on. These are plans to build a high performance Laser CNC. I have built 3 so far. They have endured quite a bit of abuse. They cost about $500 to build. It uses high quality precision components. The engraving / cut area is about 10" x 14". It has two laser mounts and a selector switch. It's designed for a 15 watt blue diode laser (~$120) and a .5watt UV diode (~$50) to do beautiful engravings on woods,, mirrors and stone and foods. It will also cut some woods and dark plastics,, felt,, fabrics,, paper,, vinyls,, and tortillas . It has built in filtration. It uses a type R HEPA filter. The CNC is controlled by a GRBL kit from Amazon ($20). It uses 3 Nema17 stepper motors and 3 16 tooth GT2 pulleys and GT2 belt. If you are in the Everett,, Washington Area,, I can give you a hand and help you with brackets.
