Spherecase Magnetic Dice Box

Spherecase Magnetic Dice Box

Description

Update: I forgot to save the registration pin with the correct tolerances. So you might have too tight fits and your parts won't come together. I added a bit of air to all the major measurements. This is a RPG dice box for regular 7 piece sets. You need two shells and 12 registrationpins as well as 12 6x3mm neodymium magnets to build this case. The spheres are 31mm in diameter and fit even slightly bigger dice. For standard dice size is even a bit space left to add some padding inside. Especially good for gemstone dice. There is also a deep version combined with a regular shell to contain a set per slot to hold a total of 7 sets. The registrationpins are extra and need to be glued on, but this safes a lot of material in the print and gives the option to print the pins in a different color. I rethought my attempt on the deep version a bit. Not only the high amount of supports needed is not the best, also the depth makes it hard to get the tubes cleaned up. So I made a different version in two pieces. You can either glue the endcap on the extension piece, to get the deep version (110mm for 7 piece set, until I testfit other options. For specific heights feel free to ask me). Or you glue 2 extensions together to get a different look that needs a second lid. To help glue these two extensions together the guide piece helps out.
