Julia Fractal Bowl No. 1
Description
This is a bowl I designed based on the Julia set of fractals. It is generated with custom code in python, imported into inkscape and converted to svg, imported into openscad then rendered into a vase shape. The Julia equation I used is in the following form: z -> z^7 + 1.2 + 0.5i Iterations are limited by: Real[z^2 + 1.2 + 0.5i]^8 < 1e10 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julia_set The object I printed is actually a failed print in the last few mm due to a nozzle clog just after a filament swap.
