Spool Wheels for IKEA LACK Enclosure
Description
I really liked the idea of the wheels for the filament spools on the IKEA LACK enclosure. However, I had three issues with the design. I found that narrow spools didn't fit, the wheels didn't roll very smoothly, and the wheels fell off whenever I lifted the lid off. I used two 14 inch long pieces of 1/2 inch CPCV thin-wall pipe (5/8 inch OD) for axles and some custom supports. Now the wheels roll smoothly, can fit three very narrow or very wide spools, and the axles and wheels don't fall off because of the dimple in the end supports. They are easily removable if needed.
