Lockpick demonstration tool/gun 2.0

Description

If you want to see what else I am making, follow my instagram! @wiseprints206 12.21.19: I made the handle smaller so you can use it with smaller hands. It should be a bit easier to use for many people now. This is probably the last update this design will get before I make a totally different one sometime in the future. the files for the smaller handle have 2.1 at the end of the name. It should be pretty easy to tell. 3.6.19: This design is more a proof of concept than anything else. I will at some point upload a 2.0 version, that is much more comfortable and easy to use, I realize you need large hands to operate this device, and it can easily be fixed. Right now I'm working on 3 bigger projects, and this will have to wait for another day when I have some free time. However, I did edit the trigger a bit and here is what I believe is an improved version included. I have not tested the new version, so have fun trying it out! PREFACE: PLEASE DO NOT BE STUPID WITH THIS. This is for personal locks and usage only. DO NOT use on other peoples things. UPDATE: I printed this and it works! however the trigger needed modification, so I did that and will print soon. I added the updated trigger file for everyone, happy printing! This is my design of a lockpick gun. Essentially I locked myself out of one of my chests that I store things in, and wanted a way to open it, so I designed this to do the trick. I'm not certain that it works just yet, but I will know soon enough! I just designed this so I have yet to print it. After printing this, you will need a few extra parts and pieces: -4x 20x10x2mm rare earth magnets. link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CP4LBSY?ie=UTF8&tag=wiseprints206-20&camp=1789&linkCode=xm2&creativeASIN=B07CP4LBSY -2x 8mm diameter metal rod (you can make due with 1) link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CLGRDQF?ie=UTF8&tag=wiseprints206-20&camp=1789&linkCode=xm2&creativeASIN=B07CLGRDQF -Hacksaw or something of the sort to cut the rods to size (local hardware stores have these) -1x piece of metal to insert into the tip of the gun. A sturdy piece of metal that is around 1x3x30mm should do the trick. If you don't have something laying around you can order a standard pickset from amazon, and break off one of the tips of the picks to insert into the end of the device. Link to pickset: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZTMRZMX?ie=UTF8&tag=wiseprints206-20&camp=1789&linkCode=xm2&creativeASIN=B07ZTMRZMX Alternatively, you can make a hose clamp work: https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Lock-Picks/ Assembly is very straight forward, the pieces are very obvious were they go. the magnets are put in stacks of 2, and glued into the top of the case, and the arm, so they oppose each other and function as a spring. When you obtain the tip for the gun, it can be electrical taped into the end slot of the arm (once again, I have not tested this device). To use, you need a lock torque device in conjunction with this tool. a quick youtube search for lock pick gun will show you how it works. you essentially insert the tip of the arm into the top of the lock, and pull the trigger. While holding the trigger back, slide the trigger up and towards the front of the gun to "click" the end inside the lock. This should bump the pins to the top of the lock.
